MARCH INTO MINKEY

12th May 2006

Hockey South is this year running a Primary Hockey day at the Tasmanian Hockey Centre – Bell Street New Town. The clinic is catering for all facets of school hockey.

There will be a Coaching Clinic on the turf for the children with several qualified Australian Hockey League players. There will also be an introduction to hockey – An informal briefing for Minkey, Half Field and Open Primary Coaches/Parents or anyone new to the game.

There will also be a Level 0 umpiring course – this is an introduction course that is based around school hockey and is a must for those that will be umpiring school hockey at any level this season.

Schools Coordinator Lesley Harrison will be there to answer any questions you may have in relation to Primary Hockey as well as register teams for the 2006 winter season.

Important Times

9:00am-11:00am – Continuous Hockey Coaching Clinic on THC1

9:10am-10:00am – Introduction to Hockey Course

10:10am-11:00pm – Level 0 Umpires Course
