Summer Social Hockey 2006

Summer Social Hockey is back again for the 2006-2007 season.
The season will start on the 15th October, run through
until the week of the 10th December where there will be a 5
week break for Christmas/New Year. The season will then recommence on the21st January and run until 25th February.
This means a total of 15 weeks.
Matches will be played all day Sunday’s, Thursday evenings,
Friday evenings and if required Saturday afternoons.
As has been the case in past years there will be 3 main divisions — Serious Social, Socially Social & Family Social.
Rules apply to a maximum of 6 males on the field at anyone
time.
The cost this year is $70.00 per team/match. (This is a around
$1.00 rise per person—the first rise in over 10 years). A
$100.00 deposit is required with each entry—which will be
refunded over the last two matches of the season.
With the Redevelopment of the Tasmanian Hockey Centre
due to start in mid October we will only have one ground
available for the entirety of the summer season. This means
that early entry and payment of deposit is paramount this year
to ensure you get a spot. With only one ground spaces will be
limited and will be on a first in basis.
